Materials
Synthetic hair brushes are best for face painting. They hold up with repeated use in water without becoming too soft and distribute the paint evenly. Our new vegan paintbrush set allows you to draw lines, teardrops, swirls, and much more.
How to Clean Your Make Up Brush
-
Lay the brush face down with its bristles closest to running warm water. Pinch the bristle fibres and gently squeeze out makeup residue or excess water.
-
Place a dime-sized dollop of olive oil (for natural bristles) and mild soap onto your palm or apply directly to the bristles after rinsing under warm water.
-
Massage the brush bristles on your palm in a soft circular motion while letting water run through.
-
Stop rinsing once the water runs clear. Do not submerge the bristles or get the ferrule wet.
-
Using a towel, softly squeeze out excess water. Air dry in an area with free-flowing air.
